ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!

Millions of homeless, abused and neglected animals die every year. They die on the streets, tied up in back yards, in shelters, at veterinary offices. No one wants them. No one comes to take them home. Breeding just adds thousands more cats and dogs to the list of those who need homes.

Dogs and cats with special papers aren't any more special than those without. They might look different, they might make you feel like you have a special rank in the army of pet owners, they might put you back a wad of hard-earned cash and feel more valuable than rescued ones, but they are just animals like any others.

Save a life. Do a mitzvah. ADOPT.
