HOW TO TRAVEL WITH PETS (IE DON'T LEAVE THEM BEHIND! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABANDONMENT.)
There are so SO SOOO many people who take the easy way out when it comes to moving--they just leave their pets behind. It's easier--no forms, no money, no cages, no challenging home searches. But guess what?? IT'S NOT OK. Pets are not disposable or convenient friends--they are family and need to be treated as such. And, yes...I believe in karma.
The good news is that it's pretty easy to travel the world with pets, and thousands of responsible pet owners do it every day. Don't forget to check your airline's regulations (some don't even allow pets, or only allow them in the hold) and destination country's import regulations if not specifically listed in the pages I have here.
