HOW TO TRAVEL WITH PETS (IE DON'T LEAVE THEM BEHIND! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABANDONMENT.)

blank USDA APHIS certificate for entering Israel

Blank travel certificate and info on bringing pets to Israel

There are so SO SOOO many people who take the easy way out when it comes to moving--they just leave their pets behind. It's easier--no forms, no money, no cages, no challenging home searches. But guess what?? IT'S NOT OK. Pets are not disposable or convenient friends--they are family and need to be treated as such. And, yes...I believe in karma.

The good news is that it's pretty easy to travel the world with pets, and thousands of responsible pet owners do it every day. Here is a post I have on my Tiny Pet Rescue Facebook page with most of the information you need for travelling in/out of Israel with your fuzzy buddies. Don't forget to check your airline's regulations (some don't even allow pets, or only allow them in the hold) and destination country's import regulations if not specifically listed in the pages I have here.
