WHY ARE GUYS SO WEIRD ABOUT ADOPTING CATS?

Guys are usually the ones saying no to adopting cats. They "hate them", are "allergic", "don't want them".... They can go on like this for YEARS. And then...they allow a cat into the house. Reluctantly. Angrily. That lasts about 2 minutes and then they LIVE for the new cat. They come home early from work to see them. They buy them things. They build them things. They talk about them. They make them their screen savers. They make social media accounts for them. It happens every time. But why??? Why are men like this??!
